Benjamin Tran, President and Managing Director

Prior to founding VIC Capital, Benjamin served as President and CEO of biometric technology ClearPass Systems, a wholly-owned subsidiary of a publicly traded company that specializes in cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Benjamin was also founder of Technovisa, an international consulting company providing incubation and international trade development services to emerging-growth companies in Silicon Valley and Asia Pacific region.  Under Benjamin‘s Accelerated Corporate Development Strategy (ACDS), several startups have been able to go global and secured significant capital investments for their accelerated growths. As a Silicon Valley high-tech veteran, Benjamin brings eighteen years of diversified experience including mergers and acquisitions, venture management, strategic marketing and international business development. Prior to his venture capital career, Benjamin worked for reputable technology leaders including Micron Technology, Fujitsu Microelectronics, Mitsubishi Electric America, Philips Semiconductors, VLSI Technologies, holding various senior management positions. At the turn of the new millennium, Benjamin diverted his engineering career to the capital investment arena, extensively traveled to Asia Pacific region while serving as investment advisor and corporate strategist for oversea companies having “globally appealing” products and services, adding values to foreign investment programs as well as strategizing international JV activities. Today, Benjamin focuses his energy to assist several foreign and US domestic companies seeking capital infusions and going public to tap into global capital markets and accelerate growth. Benjamin Tran holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University, California, USA.
